What's so special about it: Read about Beppu Menkan at
http://food.asia1.com.sg/gdfd/res_20050206_001.shtml
What the challenge does: Burns your tongue. It comes with free lip service (no, not that type!)
Who the gallant knight was: Read on to find out!
Did he/she really do it? See the receipt on the left? Oniyama Jigoku - 8x. It means 8 Chilis, the highest level of courageousness is needed to attempt that level of spiciness!
I applaude the 4 chilis attempt too!
THE GALLANT KNIGHTWho the gallant knight was: Kelvin Poh
What's so special about him: He believes that life (or at least food) should be spicy!
What he likes to do: Burn his tongue. His last attempt was 6 Chilis. He love the lip service (ehem) that comes with it!
Did he really do it? See his smile (take note of the lip:P)? Nope, he hasn't done it yet, at least in this picture!
Tune in to find out!
THE MORNING (OOPS!) MOMENT AFTERWhat the Knight said: Nothing!
What's so special about nothing: Rendered speechless by the 'hot' moment!
What he did: Burnt his tongue.
Could he take it? See his smile (or the lack of it).
THE RESULTWhat the Knight wants you to see: His lovely beestung lips.
What's so special about the lips: No chemical treatment needed!
What he thought about the lips: Lovely!
Would he do it again?: Hell ya! (No pun intended whatsoever to the Ramen).
THE WITNESSESWhat we saw: His lovely beestung lips.
What we thought of it: *Shakes head* Imagine what it could do to your stomach!
What we thought of the whole challenge: We have proven yet again, that WOMEN are the smarter species!
